Top Ways to Clean Kitchen Appliances

Keeping your kitchen appliances clean is a very important task. That can prolong their life and make your electricity bill smaller. You probably want to save some time cleaning them and do more important things. Here is some advice how to keep your big appliances clean.

Freezer
It is very important that you keep your fridge clean inside and outside. Some freezers defrost automatically but others don't. Defrosting your freezer often will allow the ice to melt easily. Leave the insides to thaw completely. Then, take the shelves out and clean them with a solution made of water and vinegar.

Dishwasher
Check the filter on a regular basis. Run your machine without any dishes inside. That might seem useless but it will clean the inner parts and hoses, which will enhance the wash cycles.

Wine cooler
Clean it inside and out. Use a soft cloth to wipe it regularly. You can scrub with a brush if you need to remove any dirtier spots. You can also use a solution of water and vinegar.

Oven and cooktop
Take out the shelves and scrub them with a brush. Put them in the dishwashing machine twice or at least once in a week.

If you manage to maintain your appliances in the right way, they will have a longer life. Furthermore, they will be more efficient without dirt disturbing their work. If you have any problem cleaning them or you don't want to deal with that, leave it to professionals.
