Moving Out Means Cleaning

Moving out is not as simple as most people think. The expression “to move out” doesn't mean only to collect your things and to leave a property, it means that you have to recover the original looks of the property and then to leave.

But what exactly are you expected to do?

Here is a short list of tasks, which you have to accomplish before you leave, offered by a move out cleaning London company:

  • First of all fix everything that you've damaged or broken.
  • Start cleaning from the top-down, removing the cobwebs and mould spores first (if there are any, of course). Vacuum the cobwebs and spray the mould with pure white vinegar. You can use bleach, too, but it is quite dangerous for the environment and for your health, so I don't recommend it to you.
  • Dust the furniture.
  • Vacuum the floors in the whole place and wipe the wooden and tile ones with a damp mop.
  • Clean the stains from the carpets and upholstery furniture.
  • Clean the whole kitchen, removing the stains from all appliances. Your oven and stove probably have a lot of baked-on grease stains, so they have to be cleaned. Do not miss to wipe the fridge, too.
  • Wash the shower-curtain in the bathroom and clean the grout from the tiles. Do not skip the toilet, too.

And if you don't like the idea of doing all these things, or you simply don't have the time, call some move out cleaning London company and let its specialists do the work for you. There are plenty of these companies in the British capital, nowadays, so it won't be hard to find one operating in your area.
