How to Clean with Lemon

Lemon is one of the best cleaners that you can find in your kitchen. The acid in this natural product removes grime and rust spots from different surfaces. Moreover, it smells really fresh and creates a pleasant atmosphere in your home.

  1. Get rid of hard food spots from plastic and light wood cutting boards, using a half of lemon. Squeeze the lemon onto the stained surface, then rub and leave it for about 25 minutes. Rinse well with water.

  2. Make your dish-washing product more effective, adding 1 teaspoon lemon juice in it. 

  3. If your counter-top is NOT made of some delicate material, such as marble or stainless steel, clean it with the cut side of a lemon, dipped in a little bit of baking soda. Then, wipe the surface with a damp sponge and dry it with a clean cloth. 

  4. Many London cleaners remove harsh smells from their hands, rubbing them with lemon juice. This neutralizes the unpleasant odours from the skin.
