Remove Closet Mildew and Odours

Closet mildew is really bad and it may cause more than foul odours. Mould and mildew are really dangerous for the health, especially for young people.
Some people even hire professional cleaning services, to remove the problem from their closets. If you have mildew in your closet and do not know how to get rid of it, here are some tips that you might find useful for the cleaning task:
  1. One of the first and most important things you have to do is to remove all the items from the closet, having mildew. Before starting the treatment this is a necessary task. This will help you to see things that have mildew and those, which are not damaged. When removing the items, your closet will dry faster, getting ready for the actual cleaning.
  2. The second step is to use baking soda for closet mildew. You might have already removed all your stuff from the closet, but it is still damp. So what you can do is to sprinkle baking soda on the carpet. There is a chance that the mild might cling to the walls. To solve this problem just make a mixture of ½ cup baking soda with gallon of warm water. Apply the compound to the affected area of wall or ceiling in the room. After then scrub it gently. But keep in mind that you do not have to rinse. Most expert cleaning services include special cleaning products, which cannot be found at the ordinary stores.
  3. While the close it is still damp it is easier to find the source of mildew. Actually your closet can get dry, only if you stop the source of moisture. If you still can't find the source, then leave the closet to get dry a bit more and see the steps below.
  4. Leave the door widely spread of your closet and let it dry. Do not start anything before it completely dries up.
  5. After the closet has fully dried up, vacuum up the residues of baking soda, if any.
  6. If you still cannot define the source of mildew, try again when another time of waiting to get dry. Check the walls for any condensation. Try to see if there are any wet spots in the carpeting. If you still can't find the source, then you better use the professional cleaning London services.
