How to Remove Hard Water Stains

Removing stains from different surfaces and materials is a task, which every home owner has to deal with in his/her everyday cleaning. However, for every such cleaning problem there is a solution and the only thing you have to do is to find the key for this door. Moreover, you have to find the best alternative to fight the stains, appearing in your home.

Many home owners complain to their London cleaning companies that they cannot remove hard water stains. If you experience the same inconvenience then, here are a few recipes, which can help you to remove water stains around your home.

For the job, you will need: water, lemonade, a spray bottle, baby oil, a sponge and a clean towel.

1. Pour 2-3 cups of water into a spray bottle. Take a packet of lemonade flavoured drink mix and pour it into the spray bottle. Shake it well and spray the mixture onto the affected area. Then, scrub the stain. Wipe clean, using a sponge. Rinse well with water. You can use this recipe on a shower door or for other, smaller jobs.

2. To temporarily protect glass fixtures in your home, apply a small amount of baby oil to them. Then, dip a clean towel in some baby oil and rub the affected surfaces, to remove hard water stains. Wait for a few minutes, before rinsing.

3. Professional cleaners in London advise you to use a polisher, including lemons or other sort of citrus as an ingredient, to handle hard water stains. So, spray the polisher onto the affected area. Then, wipe off the hard water stains. When spots are gone, rinse well with soapy water.
