How to Clean a Freezer Door

The door of your freezer gets dirty from time to time. And you probably wonder how to fix that problem. Don't worry, there are several thing you should know and the door will shine. Cleaning the door of your freezer is a very easy task.

Start with defrosting the freezer. Remove all food and other items. Clean the door when you are cleaning the entire freezer.

You will probably need to use some chemical products to clean the door effectively. If there is food in the freezer, it can be affected by them. This is why it should be emptied.

When you remove all the stuff from inside, open the door widely. Make it comfortable, so that you can reach any spot on it. Take a cotton cloth and dampen it with water. Wipe the entire surface of the door. Make sure that you get rid of all dirt and debris – ice, food leftovers or other material.

The next thing is to use some antibacterial spray to clean the door and the inside of the freezer too. You can use a soft sponge or damp cloth. Wipe carefully, paying special attention to the corners. They tend to accumulate dirt easily.

When you are done with wiping the entire door, make sure to dry the surface with a soft cotton cloth.
Follow the above steps and your freezer will be clean and ready for use.
