How to Clean Up a Merlot Wine Stains

 Is there anything like a glass of nice merlot wine in front of your fireplace? The answer is no. unfortunately, no matter how pleasant the feeling may be, it have its disadvantages. For example, it is almost sure that you will spill at least a drop of your wine wile you drinking it. This doesn't have to ruin your nice moment. No matter where a stain appear you can easily remove it.

Carpets and Upholestery
If the spill affects your carpet, start blot the stain with a clean, white cloth or white paper towels. Lift up as much of the moisture from the stain as possible.
Cover the spot with club soda. Again blot up until you can no longer get moisture from the spot. If the stain is still visible repeat the procedure several times.
If the stain is still there prepare a paste from baking soda and club soda. Blot the paste onto the stain. Allow it to dry and vacuum up afterwards.
Clothes
cover the stain with cornstarch in order to absorb as much of the wine as possible. Remove it after 15 minutes. Lift up any cornstarch that is left behind with a scrubbing brush.
Then boil water and submerge the stained part of the cloth in the boiling water. This have to e effective enough to remove any residual stain.
After that pre-treat the cloth the spot with a solution prepared of one cup of vinegar and one cup of water before washing it.
